The Grande Loge Féminine de Belgique – Vrouwengrootloge van België (Women’s Grand Lodge of Belgium) is a Federation of free and sovereign Lodges. It is formed as a nonprofit association. It is managed by a Federal Council consisting of 12 Federal councilors elected for 3 years.

It is a federation but it is not a hodgepodge without a soul. The Federal council represents the executive power (as the Board of directors of a nonprofit association) and is presided over by the Grand Master.

As in any nonprofit, a general assembly holds the "legislative power" and is composed democratically of representatives of the Lodges elected each year.

In the same way, each lodge is led by a "worshipful master" and a "board of dignitary officers" elected each year.

All the "official" posts held in Freemasonry are provisory and conditioned by a mission.

Currently the "Grande Loge Féminine de Belgique - Vrouwengrootloge van België" (Women’s Grand Lodge of Belgium) counts more than 2200 members.
